I had a rough night started 14th in the feature, got up to 7th and got punted into the the tires in the infield. The tire bent my spindle and I had to settle for 15th.

After three straight weeks of rain outs we finally got to run the season opener at Vinton. I drew a lousy number and started second to last in my heat race and finished fourth. I got lucky and drew the pole for the feature. We have been having a super rainy spring and the moisture in the ground made for a very rough track. We had five cautions before we got one lap in mostly due to the ruts. Once we got going I managed to hold the lead for a majority of the race till I hit a rut in turn three and four hard enough it knocked my glasses off inside my helmet. I’m telling yah, I have never had that happen before. I had to open my shield with one hand and get my glasses back on my nose while trying to keep the car on the track with the other. When this happened I lost the lead and finished fifth. Mod57

We were planning to race at Vinton tonight but the last minute they canceled due to excessive rain Saturday. We already had the car loaded and really needed a racing fix. Kevin jumped under the car and had the gear changed in less then twenty minutes, so off to West Liberty we went. We got there late so I had to start at the rear in my heat; I finished fifth, only the top three qualified. In the consi I finished third which earned me a nineteenth starting position in the feature. All the rain we had made for a real rough track, I avoided the wrecks and mayhem and managed to pull off a top ten finish. Eighth out of twenty eight cars of this quality is a pretty good run.

This just in, Mikey and Radar have been busy this racing off-season. Recently they were practicing for their audition with Dancing With the Stars when this video was captured - they do have talent or what?
